HAMA/DAMASCUS, (SANA) – The authorities in Hama on Friday raided dens of armed terrorist groups in al-Faraya and al-Hamidiye neighborhoods, confiscating firearms, ammunition and communication devices.
The confiscated weapons include RPG launchers, a PKC machinegun, a machinegun of Yugoslavian manufacture, a silencer-equipped sniper rifle, eight AK-47 rifles, three handguns, handmade grenades and explosives, and a large amount of ammo and magazines.
The authorities also confiscated three advanced wireless communication devices and a communications station used by terrorists, in addition to 11 Senao wireless phones and a number of desktop and laptop PCs.
