ALEPPO, SYRIA – A military source confirmed to Al-Masdar that units from the Syrian Arab Army’s elite Tiger Forces managed Ayosha Hill shortly after capturing the neighboring Ayosha village.
The source underscored the importance of this deed calling it a “strategic achievement” as it positions the Syrian Army to strike Al-Bab’s last line of defense at Tadef by cutting the terrorist group’s supply lines from Deir Hafer and Raqqa at Abu Jabbar Kabir village.
This assault surprised the Islamic State’s regional command as they expected the main focus of attack to be at Beerat Al-Bab from Touman and Aran villages. The Tiger Forces are notorious for their randomized attacks that disorient their foes and puncture their defenses.
