The Lebanese Al Mayadeen satellite television channel has released a video showing an operation of the Syrian Arab Army and its allies against ISIS in the Homs-Deir Ezzor desert in eastern Syria.
Despite the liberation of al-Bukamal and all key positions on the western bank of the Euphrates, ISIS still has a notable force in the desert area in the provinces of Homs and Deir Ezzor. Government forces have to clear this desert area from the terrorists if they want to secure their positions in the Euphrates Valley.
